Yvette Paxinos

Candidate for the Legislative Council.

Studied at the College of Fine Arts and is currently working as a video director. Yvette has returned to Bondi Junction after recently living in London during it’s transition to a cycle and pedestrian friendly city. Yvette believes cycling can provide a partial but permanent solution to some of our traffic, parking, health, and local and global pollution problems.

Chloe Mason

Chloë Mason

Lives: Inner Sydney

Occupation: Urban planner

Candidate for the Legislative Council

Chloë began her working life in public health and has experience working in occupational health, environmental protection, the law and public interest advocacy. Chloë has worked extensively in transport policy and practice for all levels of government focusing on good joint outcomes for health, the environment, and social justice. She has also worked for public institutions, such as TAFE and universities (including UNSW and UWS), and hospitals, to encourage them to support their clients to use public transport, car-sharing and to walk and to ride a bicycle.

She also collaborated on a program with older people to encourage and enable rusty riders to return to cycling.

Chloë herself rides a bicycle for local trips, and enjoys group bicycle rides in Sydney.
